    Mrs. Dodson is a 2016 graduate of North Forsyth High School. She has earned both a Bachelor’s Degree in History and a Master of Arts in Teaching from Piedmont University. Mrs. Dodson has been at Rabun County High since 2021.

    Mrs. Mayes is a graduate of the University of North Georgia. She earned a Bachelor's Degree in History and Secondary Education in 2017, and a Master's Degree in History in 2021. She is an Appalachian historian and wrote a master's thesis on the Batesville community in Habersham County. Mrs. Mayes loves to incorporate local history and Appalachian culture into her classes.

    Mr. Pitts graduated from Stephens County High School in Toccoa, GA, in 2010. He earned a Bachelor's Degree in History Education from Kennesaw State University.

    Mr. Shook is a graduate of Towns County High School (1996), Young Harris College (1998, Associate's Degree), Berry College (2000, Bachelor of Arts), and Liberty University (2010, Master of Arts), with additional coursework from NGCSU in Dahlonega. He taught at Towns County Middle School, 2003-2005, and Rabun County Elementary, 2005-2007. He taught in the RCHS English Department, 2007-2020 before moving to the social studies department.

    Mrs. Green is a 2007 graduate of Rabun County High School. She earned a Bachelor's Degree in History, Master's Degree in Teaching, and an Educational Specialist Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Piedmont University (formally Piedmont College).  Mrs. Green began her teaching career in 2014 at Rabun County Middle School where she taught eighth grade Georgia Studies until 2021 when she made the move to Rabun County High School.  She also the advisor to the Rabun County High School Yearbook.
