Welcome! I have no doubt that this will be a great year for us all. I am April Adcock, and I am the counselor for Rabun County Middle School. I am so excited to be a part of the Rabun County Middle School family. I was born and raised in this community, and it has always been so welcoming and supportive of our schools and students. Fortunately, My husband and I are blessed to be able to raise our four children here. I also feel blessed to be able to give back to the community that has given so much to me.

I have been an educator for the past sixteen years. I wanted to be able to go beyond the classroom and reach more students throughout their education. I received my Masters in School Counseling at Liberty University in May 2022. I have two years of school counseling experience at the middle school level. My love for school counseling comes from getting to work with all students in the areas of academics, career development, and in the personal/social domain.
