Fall Break
There will be no school for students this Friday, October 11. This will be an in-service day for our teachers.
Next week (October 14-18) is fall break. There will not be any school for students during this week.
Clayton is a 2008 graduate of Jasper County High School. He has earned an Associate's Degree from Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College and a Bachelor's Degree in Agricultural Education from the University of Georgia. Clayton brings industry experience to his classroom from working on 5 agricultural operations, several years of experience in commercial construction, and retail experience at a Southern States Cooperative. Clayton is an advisor to the Rabun County FFA and teaches the following courses: Basic Agricultural Science & Biotechnology, Plant Science & Biotechnology, Animal Science & Biotechnology, and Wildlife Management.

Brent is a 2000 graduate of West Monona High School in Onawa, IA. He played Football 2 years at Peru State College, Peru, NE, then transferred to Briar Cliff University in Sioux City, IA and played football for 1 year. He then finished his Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Technology Education at Wayne State College, Wayne, NE. He started teaching at Blair High school in Blair, NE. In 2005, he moved to Habersham county to teach, and then in 2013, he came to RCHS.

Alicia is a graduate of Shiloh High School in Snellville, Georgia. She has earned an Associate's Degree in Respiratory Therapy from Gwinnett Technical College, a Bachelor’s Degree in Technological Studies Education, and a Master’s Degree in Workforce Education from the University of Georgia. She has many years of healthcare experience, is Master Teacher Certified by the National Consortium of Health Science Education, and was named 2020 RCHS Teacher of the Year, 2021 Health Science Teacher of the Year, and 2021 Georgia CTAE Teacher of the Year.

James is a 2009 graduate of Ola High School. He has earned an Associate's Degree from Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College and a Bachelor's Degree in Agricultural Education from the University of Georgia. Additionally, he holds a Master's Degree in Agricultural Education from the University of Missouri. James brings a plethora of experience from industry working in the electrical contractor field, where he helped service commercial greenhouses, state produce packing houses, and several other commercial operations. Also, he has experience as an Agricultural Mechanics teacher for 9 years at Winder-Barrow High School in Winder, GA. James is an advisor to the Rabun County FFA and teaches the following courses: Ag Mechanics I, Ag Mechanics II, Ag Mechanics III, and Metal Fabrication. He is married to his wife Kelly, who is a science teacher at RCHS. Together they have one son, Charlie.

Kyle is a 1996 graduate of RCHS. He earned his Bachelor's degree in Film Production from Georgia State University. He worked in the film industry as an editor before returning to his hometown to open a computer repair business. Kyle started teaching the Audio Video Technology and Film class at RCHS in January of 2018. He is also the co-advisor of the RCHS TSA (Technology Student Association) Club and the assistant boys soccer coach.

Allison is a 1990 graduate of RCHS. She earned a Bachelor's Degree with a major in English and minors in Secondary Education and Business from Piedmont University. Allison continued her education with a Master's Degree in Higher Education: College Teaching and Learning from Walden University and a Specialist Degree in Instructional Technology from Valdosta State University. Allison currently teaches Business and Technology and Finance. Allison previously taught English and was the yearbook advisor.

Tammie is a graduate of Hayesville High School and resides in Hayesville, NC. She has a Bachelor of Science in Business Education and a Bachelor of Science in Office Administration from Western Carolina University. She has worked at RCHS for over 20 years and has spent over 30 years in education. She is a former Business Education teacher and FBLA Advisor and currently serves as CTAE Director and WBL Coordinator. She has taught numerous Business Education pathways over the years and served for nine years as RaCoHi Yearbook Advisor. She was Rabun County High School and Rabun County School System Teacher of the Year in 2006-2007.
