Justin Spillers Named Assistant Superintendent of Secondary Student Achievement and Operation

Rabun County Schools is pleased to announce that Mr. Justin Spillers has been named Assistant Superintendent of Secondary Student Achievement and Operations for the Rabun County School System.

Mr. Spillers holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of North Georgia, a master’s degree from the University of Alabama, and a specialist degree from Valdosta State University. He is currently pursuing a doctoral degree at the University of Georgia.

A familiar face in Rabun County Schools, Mr. Spillers began his 18-year career in education at Rabun County High School as a classroom teacher. He has since served as assistant principal at both Rabun County Primary School and Rabun County High School and has spent the past seven years as principal of Rabun County High School.

Mr. Spillers’ leadership experience, deep knowledge of secondary instruction, and commitment to operational excellence will be invaluable as the district continues to strengthen student achievement and support schools across the system.

Mr. Spillers is excited to continue serving the Rabun County community in this new role and looks forward to supporting students, staff, and families across the district.
