Rabun County Schools will remain closed on Tuesday, January 27, due to hazardous road conditions, widespread power outages, and ongoing tree damage following the recent ice storm. 

Due to the high number of power outages impacting our community, students WILL NOT be expected to complete at-home learning for the day.

All 12-month employees should report at 10:00 a.m. if it is safe to do so.

A decision on afternoon activities will be made after further assessments of conditions. 

We will continue to assess conditions throughout the day on Tuesday and make a decision regarding school operations for Wednesday, January 28, as soon as possible.
