Rabun County Schools will be closed for all students and staff on Monday, January 26, 2026, due to the high confidence of inclement weather and road conditions that will come as a result of the forecasted weekend ice storm. All after-school activities are also cancelled. 

Rabun County officials are urging everyone to avoid any unnecessary travel during the storm and immediately thereafter. Widespread power outages are expected, and everyone should make preparations ahead of time.
