Keeping Our Wildcats Healthy

Posted Date: 01/06/26 (04:15 PM)

As we enter cold and flu season, Rabun County Schools is committed to keeping our students healthy and in the classroom. To help prevent the spread of germs, please review these simple healthy habits with your children:

  • Wash Your Hands: Use soap and water for at least 20 seconds.
  • Cover Coughs & Sneezes: Use your elbow, not your hands.
  • Stay Home When Sick: Students with a fever of 100.4°F or higher should stay home. Please remember to obtain a doctor’s note for their return.
If your student is feeling unwell, the Wildcat Clinic is available Monday–Friday, 8:00 am – 4:30 pm. You can reach them at 706-782-0459.
Thank you for helping us keep our schools a healthy place to learn!
