Rabun County Schools is proud to share that we have been awarded the Computer Science Teacher Equipment and Community Grant! Official approval was confirmed at the November 2025  meeting of the State Board of Education.

This grant will support the continued expansion of hands-on physical computing and robotics at both RCES and RCMS, providing students with even more opportunities to explore and engage in computer science.

We would like to extend our appreciation to Dr. M’ryanne Peacock and Mr. Ed Polley for their leadership in advancing computer science education and for their tremendous work on the grant application. Their dedication has helped us secure this highly competitive grant for the second consecutive year.
