Both RCPS and RCES are Title I Schools and we are dedicated to foster partnerships between home and school. 

Family Engagement Plans and School-Parent Compacts

Teachers will go over the School Parent Compacts during your first-semester conference.  The Parent and Family Engagement Plans will be sent home with the beginning of the year paperwork from RCPS and RCES.

The Parent and Family Engagement Plan and School-Parent Compacts are available to download here or you may request a hard copy from the office. They are also available in the Family Resource Room. The RCPS Compacts are also available in grade level “Need to Knows.”

These items can be translated into other languages upon request. 

Input Wanted

The most important teacher in a child's life is the person they live with.  Rabun County Schools need your input on how to best serve our children.  We highly encourage you to attend meetings at your child's school.  If you are unable to attend please contact a member of our family engagement staff for an alternate meeting time or compete the surveys linked below. 

The following meetings are scheduled to discuss our School-Parent Compacts and Family Engagement Plans at each Title I school.  If you are unable to attend, you may provide your comments here.

The following meeting is scheduled to discuss our Family Engagement Plans and Family Engagement Set Aside Funding at the district level. If you are unable to attend, you may provide your comments here.

Comprehensive Needs Assessment and Schoolwide Planning Meetings

The following meetings are scheduled for our comprehensive needs assessment and schoolwide planning.  These meetings help us plan for the 2025-2026 school year.  We hope to see you there. The comprehensive needs assessment will be held first, followed by the schoolwide planning meeting.

The Rabun County School System wants to partner with you to provide all students with a positive and enriching educational experience.  We are committed to providing information, opportunities, and resources to enable parents and guardians to be involved in their child’s academic experience.  Please contact any of the staff listed below to learn about the available opportunities and how you can be involved at your child’s school.
