Complaint Procedures under the Every Student Succeeds Act

Any individual, organization, or agency may file a complaint with the Rabun County Department of Education if that individual, organization, or agency believes and alleges that the Rabun County Department of Education, the Georgia Department of Education, or an agency or consortium of agencies is violating a Federal statute or regulation that applies to a program under the Every Student Succeeds Act The complaint must allege a violation that occurred not more than one (1) year prior to the date that the complaint is received unless a more extended period is reasonable because the violation is considered systemic or ongoing.  A copy of the Complaints Procedures under the Every Child Succeeds Act is available in the school office, central office, and the district webpage.
