I have had the pleasure of working at Rabun County High School and being a part of the Career Technical and Agricultural Education (CTAE) Department for the last fourteen years. I have found there is no better place to be than at RaCoHi! I have been an FBLA sponsor and have taught numerous courses throughout the last 29 years as a Business Education teacher in South Carolina and Georgia. I know the importance of the CTAE programs and CTSO’s (Career Technical Student Organizations) in preparing students for post-secondary education and the world of work. I am thrilled to have the opportunity to serve this year as both CTAE Director and WBL Coordinator (Work Based Learning) at RCHS. I will work closely with the CTAE teachers and students, with businesses/employers in the community, and with post-secondary institutions to ensure that our students have the skills that they need to move forward beyond RCHS and be successful in the real world.
