We are excited to announce that the Rabun County Board of Education has officially approved the school calendar for the 2027–2028 school year.

This calendar is the result of a collaborative effort. Our dedicated calendar committee, made up of teachers, administrators, and parents, invested significant time developing three strong calendar options for consideration. Their thoughtful work provided the foundation for both the community survey and the Board's decision.

We also appreciate everyone who participated in our parent and community survey. We received 863 responses, with Option B receiving 53.3% of the vote. The survey results, along with the committee's recommendations and other considerations, were shared with the Board of Education as they made the final decision on the 2027–2028 school calendar.
