Rabun County Schools, in proud partnership with the Rabun County Sheriff’s Office, is pleased to announce that Dakota “Kody” Dills has been named the new School Resource Officer at Rabun County Primary School. 

A 2015 graduate of Rabun County High School, Dills brings a deep-rooted commitment to our community and a wealth of local experience to this vital role. Officer Dills has served with the Rabun County Sheriff’s Office for 10 years, having begun his career at the Rabun County Detention Center. He most recently served as a patrol officer, a role in which he further distinguished himself by obtaining his field training officer certification. This background in both operations and mentorship prepared him well for his transition into school safety.

Officer Dills is eager to bring his extensive experience and passion for public safety to our youngest learners. He is excited to begin this new journey at RCPS, where he looks forward to building positive, lasting relationships with students, staff, and families while ensuring a secure and supportive learning environment for everyone.
