This year’s Rabun County honoree, Angel McCracken, has shown extraordinary dedication to students and families through her leadership, service, and advocacy. A long-standing volunteer and community leader, Angel has been instrumental in revitalizing Special Olympics in Rabun County. Through her organization, collaboration, and tireless efforts with Rabun County Schools and community partners, she has helped create meaningful opportunities for students with special needs to build friendships, celebrate achievements, and be fully embraced by the community.
From coordinating events and recruiting student buddies to leading a highly successful Special Olympics 2025 and year-round activities for student athletes, Angel exemplifies the spirit of service, respect, and advocacy this award represents.
