Mr. Butts
James is a graduate of Union County High School in Blairsville, GA. He obtained his Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice from Brenau University in Gainesville. He was employed by the State of Georgia as a POST certified Probation Officer in the Mountain Judicial Circuit for 27+ years. After leaving State Probation, he completed Mediation training and coursework and served various Courts in northeast Georgia as a Certified Mediator. James has been employed at RCHS since 2013.

Mrs. Dunn
Deana is a 1987 graduate of RCHS. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in History from Piedmont College, a Master’s Degrees in Leadership and Media from West Georgia, and Specialist Degrees in Technology from Valdosta State University and Library/ Media from West Georgia. In 2001, she was named RCMS Teacher of the Year and Rabun County School System Teacher of the Year. Deana currently serves as media specialist for grades 7-12 at Rabun County Middle/High and sponsors the RCHS Reading Club and Reading Team.
