Eric Dean
Mr. Dean grew up in Helen, GA, and earned a Bachelor’s of Business Administration from the University of North Georgia in 2009. He then began a career in business. After ten years in the business world, Mr. Dean decided for many reasons to answer the call of teaching and become a teacher. Mr. Dean is a math teacher at RCHS. He enjoys spending time with his family, especially in the outdoors.
Hallie Fisher
Mrs. Fisher was borned and raised in Rabun County and is a graduate of Rabun County High School. She earned a Bachelor's Degree from Clemson University in Mathematics Teaching and continued on at Clemson to earn a Master's Degree in Teaching and Learning. Mrs. Fisher taught for one year in South Carolina, and after marrying her husband, Bailey, they decided to return home to the mountains with family. Mrs. Fisher has been teaching at RCHS since 2023, where she loves bringing algebra to life for her students.
Cameron Heyen
April Marshall
Mrs. Marshall is a Rabun County native and graduate of RCHS. She earned a Bachelor's Degree (BBA) in International Business from the University of Georgia, a Master's Degree (MAT) in Secondary Education from Piedmont College, and a Specialist Degree (EdS) in Curriculum and Instruction from Lincoln Memorial University. She is married to her husband Mike, and they have a daughter, Caroline, and a son, Cameron. During the summer and weekends, she and her family enjoy time on the water with friends and their dog, Sully!
Tonia Mcrary
Mrs. Mcrary is a graduate of RCHS. She earned a Bachelor’s of Science in Applied Mathematics from Georgia Institute of Technology. She worked in the corporate sector in production planning and management as well as assisting programmers and management during start-ups for distribution centers. Since returning to Rabun County to live, she has taught middle and high school math.
Dalewin Speed
Mr. Speed graduated from Rabun County High School in 2002. He earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice from Piedmont College. He worked in law enforcement prior to becoming to a teacher. He obtained his Master’s Degree in Teaching from Piedmont College and later obtained his Specialist’s Degree in Teacher Leadership from Valdosta State University. He has taught social studies and mathematics during his teaching career. He has also been a middle school football coach.
