Mrs. Penland

Daniele is a 2005 graduate of RCHS. She has earned a Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics from the University of North Georgia, a Master's Degree in Middle Grades Math and Science, and a Specialist Degree in Teacher Leadership, both from Valdosta State University. Throughout her career, Daniele has taught many levels of mathematics. Daniele is blessed to be able to teach at her Alma Mater. She has been married to her husband Joey for three years, and they are proud to call Rabun their home.

Mrs. Marshall

April Marshall is a Rabun County native and graduate of RCHS. She earned a Bachelor's Degree (BBA) in Int'l. Business from the University of Georgia, a Master's Degree (MAT) in Secondary Education from Piedmont College, and a Specialist Degree (EdS) in Curriculum and Instruction from Lincoln Memorial University. This is her 16th year of teaching, and she loves what she does! She currently teaches Algebra I, Geometry, and Algebra II. She has been married to her husband Mike for 21 years, and they have a 13-year-old daughter, Caroline, and an 8-year-old son, Cameron. During the summer and weekends, she and her family enjoy time on the water with friends and their new retriever puppy, Sully!

Mr. Speed

Dalewin graduated from Rabun County High School in 2002. He earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice from Piedmont College. He worked in law enforcement prior to becoming to a teacher. He obtained his Master’s Degree in Teaching from Piedmont College and later obtained his Specialist’s Degree in Teacher Leadership from Valdosta State University. He has taught social studies and mathematics during his teaching career. He has also been a middle school football coach for five years.

Mrs. McRary

Tonia is a graduate of RCHS. She earned a Bachelor’s of Science in Applied Mathematics from Georgia Institute of Technology. She worked in the corporate sector in production planning and management as well as assisting programmers and management during start-ups for distribution centers. Since returning to Rabun County to live, she has taught middle and high school math.

Mr. Dean

Eric grew up in Helen, GA, and earned a Bachelor’s of Business Administration from the University of North Georgia in 2009. He then began a career in business. After ten years in the business world, Eric decided for many reasons to answer the call of teaching and become a teacher. Eric is a math teacher at RCHS. Eric enjoys spending time with his family, especially in the outdoors.
